The Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry has been carefully monitoring the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic for some weeks now.
Today (16 March 2020), Lady Smith has taken the difficult decision to postpone the child migration case study hearings which were due to resume on 24 March 2020. In the circumstances, we believe that this is the responsible action to take.
We are not yet in a position to confirm when hearings will resume but will continue to monitor the situation. Further updates will be provided on our website and via Twitter.
