Boarding Schools hearings to resume
Lady Smith, Chair of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry (SCAI) has today announced public hearings examining the abuse of children in Boarding Schools will commence on 16 March 2021.
Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry Publishes Fourth Case Study Findings
The Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry has today, 17 February, published Lady Smith’s findings in relation to the provision of residential care by The Christian Brothers at St Ninian’s Residential Care Home, Falkland, Fife, between 1953 and 1983.

The Inquiry’s case study hearings to examine the abuse of children in Boarding Schools were due to begin later this month.
